Im not satisfied of it

I can't say that the movie impressed me. There were so strange moments in it, so I could say: this movie is hard to swallow, to accept. The long moments which every movie got are so many and the movements of the actors seems pointless.
There are great transitions between each scene, but the directing is strange. Sometimes I wonder what was the last thing that happened. Why she or he acts like that (why the man from the first scene screamed when he saw the woman's bottom?!?!?) Why in the name of martial arts they fight in that tight stone path and just walking in circle and staring at each other without getting the opportunity to stab each other in the tight point of the path. Especialy the guy with the long hair. Sometimes the long moments showing his sweet face were too long and I felt these moments soooo gay (no offence to the gay people) but what was the point. Ive seen Crouching Tiger , Hidden Dragon, but there everything seems to have a point, a clue. Here some moments are so lost. Lost like the soundbed - hard rock and heavymetal guitars on the fighting scenes. Melody from the european circuss sounds realy strange on the medieval Korean fest - doesn't it ? Also the greek music in that period of time was so popular among the medieval koreans, so I wonder why dont they scream jolly : "OPA" and break some plates - as the greeks do when they have fun while dancing on the sirtaki. This movie I can say - did not like it much.
The actress is sexy - but did not like the expresions she made with her face in this movie. Everything is cool , but is not working as it should be. Actors, effects, costumes, theme of the movie - but it is shown to us in a way miles away from a simple people understanding.

The movie was enjoyable mess.

I disagree completely. The humour intrigued me at the start, but it instantly clashed with the hyper-realism and the fact that the movie starts with a lot of characters who aren't introduced at all. We go through the film, and anyone who has read the back of the DVD knows the Minister is responsible so there is no suspense, just a romance that makes what I like to call 'Disney love' feel fleshed out. They throw in the line about the Minister doing it all to become King, but that is instantly discarded.

Then we get to that ending. I will not say anything about it, because I don't want to start a flame war. Needless to say, it was a mess and left me extremely frustrated.

Any way I looked at this film I couldn't enjoy it. I always try to get people I know to watch more Eastern cinema, and this is the last film I would ever recommend to them.

well, I have to say that it´s not really the story which is the most important thing in this movie... and it´s not a historical drama so don´t complain about inapropriate musical background, which is by the way not the only thing that is not historicaly right...
