The star of this movie, Ha Ji Won, is great. She also starred in the Korean series, "Damo". "The Duelist" is an entertaining romantic movie with lots of action scenes. One can really care about the characters in this movie.

Damo and The Duelist are the same thing, just one is a drama and one is a movie. As such, the drama can expand upon a LOT of things. Whereas, the movie is a shortened version with changes so it fits together as a standalone single movie.

i don't get it, how can it be the same when the plot is totally different?

the only similarity would be the time line and her being involved with the police force.

I didn't like her character, it was all too much. Her facial expressions, her wild raven outbursts, & her crazy actings really made me dislike her character.
