Has anyone made sense of this plot??!!!!! SPOILERS

This movie took itself way too seriously!
With a plot straight from the soaps.
So many things were dropped in that had nothing specifically to do with the plot, but were added in anyway. questions...

What were they talking about on the radio? The news stories linking the hair. I don't get the connection.

What was the deal with the wig makers daughter/assistant/whatever she was. I didn't get why she was there at all? Did she buy the ladyman's hair? WHY WOULD SHE BUY THE LADYMAN'S HAIR???!!!!!

I feel like there were way more flashbacks than there needed to be.
And they didn't add to the story
they just gave me a headache

anything in the details someone caught that I may have missed?

I think the story was perfect for a horror movie. It was moody, depressing, beautiful and creepy at the same time. And no, you propably didn't miss anything important. You just didn't like the movie, or thought the idea of a cursed wig was ridiculous.

Concerning the wig-maker's daughter/assistant/whatever she was- a little crappily done. As if she was just put there to tell the backstory. Anyway, I don't understand why it's such a big deal that she bought the ladyman's hair. She had a thing for him and when the ladyman fell for another, she was obviously very jealous and angry. She wanted to get revenge on him so she propably hired those guys to beat him up and cut his hair. WHY WOULD SHE NOT BUY THE LADYMAN'S HAIR???!!!!!

Maybe the number of flashbacks were something you aren't used to? Because there weren't actually so many of them. There are lots of Asian horror movies in which flashbacks carry the story. They did so in this one too, adding the melodramatic feel.

The problem with the flashbacks for me wasn't the number of them, but the jarring way they were edited in. There was no cue for when one was beginning or ending, and it made it confusing.

The radio is talking about the flashback that happens in the end..when the twist is revealed.

And from what I know of, I think the daughter was jealous of the she/he dating the guy, so she had people beat him up.

i gave it a shot. it missed. game over for me.
