Just saw it

I happened to stumble across this and it was surprisingly great. The main two cops were funny and likeable, and the story surprised me a bit. The revelation of who the last bystander was (during the last autopsy scene) caught me off-guard and was well-done. The bullying was sad and sometimes hard to watch. I hope it doesn't get remade.

Yeah, I just saw it again by mistake. I'd known it as Diary of June not Bystanders.

Really entertaining film with good pacing, an interesting story and great acting. If you like crime mystery thrillers it doesn't get any better than this.

Highly recommended to Lost fans who hate/love Sun. Yunjin Kim is extraordinary in this film.

The last scene where she sees what the kids had been doing. The way the guilt inside her gradually builds as the scene unfolds. Culminating with her sobbing uncontrollably as she came to terms with the irreversible mistake she'd made and his death ultimately being a result of her parental neglect more so than their abuse was absolutely amazing

I just saw it as well. It was a typical South Korean thriller, which is not as predictable or cliched as that from the United States. It is definitely worth your time to see this film.

Agreed 100%. That scene of the mother watching the video was amazing. Great actress.
