best asian horror

am always fascinated with the way asian films are made
they are lot creepier than the hollywood movies that's why they end up
remaking our asian films

like the ju-on the ring and i heard they will be making the eye starring renee zelwegger how lame is that? though i loved renee. lets just wait and see

here is my list

1. ju-on (japan)
2. the ring "
3. audition "
4. one missed call "
5. three (particularly the segment: dumpling)
6. inner senses (hk)
7. the eye (hk)
8. shutter (thailand)
9. rahtree flower of the night "
10. tale of two sisters (korea)
11. red shoes "
12. cello "
13 feng shui (our own philippines)

do you have any other recommendation???

Don't kill me, Mike. I'm basically a good kid.

'phone' and 'face' (south korea) are not bad,
'three' (not extreme) - hk and south korea segment are good
my favorite still 'tale of two sisters'

I personally think Asia has hit a bit of a dead end with the ghost stories, they remind of the slasher craze in the 80s.

After a while they all become the same.

The last to reaally impress me is The Eye 2.

Also Hollywood sucks, it ain't just Asian films being remade. If you want good American Horror look to the indie scene.

I really like Cello and Ju-On: The Grudge. I want to rent Tale of Two Sisters and Audition but my blockbuster doesn't have them.

Faet (Alone). I think you'll like it a lot.

While I agree with that list, Cello's ghost was one that definitely scared me more than Kayoko and Toshio from the The Grudge/Juon series.

She's much prettier than the other ghosts, also lol.

I was surprised to find one I hadn't seen that really, really scared me: Noroi (The Curse). Docu-style, but not as shaky cam as a lot and really well put together. Scary!

Otherwise, my favs are:

Tale of Two Sisters (by far)
Shutter
Audition

I did like Three Extremes and a few others, but they're minor league compared to the four mentioned above. The Guinea Pig Flowers of Flesh and Blood was amazing if you're into "Saw" action, sans (bad) plot. I had to turn it off, and that's saying a lot when you're as horror oriented as I am.
