I don't care what status the movie is. All that matters to me is, do *I* like it? If I like it, then it could be considered the worst movie in the world, and that wouldn't affect how I enjoy the movie when I watch it. I like B-movies, but I don't like a movie just because it's a B-movie. I like blockbuster movies, too, but the same thing applies; not all blockbusters are movies I like. If I like a movie, or something about it, at least, the reason(s) vary from movie to movie. I don't swear off certain movies just because they're "mainstream." The whole thing is, other people's opinions don't affect my taste at all.

Which brings up the point of trolls...it's mindboggling to me why they just keep on popping up, like fungus, on nearly every board, just to come in & say how badly they hate a particular movie. Somewhere along the way, someone has taken such personal offense by a form of entertainment, they feel the need to relentlessly attempt to make other people as miserable as they are by posting the same thing over and over again. It's pathetic, but what's more, I really don't comprehend what they're trying to accomplish by doing it. Self-loathing aint gonna go away just because one makes it one's mission in life to act like a parasite.

By the definition of a cult classic, i.e. not overly popular from a mainstream perspective but a small yet passionate/rabid following, then yes it probably is for the Carnahan fans...but emphasis on 'small', because it sure ain't got Pulp Fiction-like cult status.
