Well I don't normally like these kinds of movies and it was my sister who actually got me on to it. The only reason she hired it out in the first place was because she likes Kevin Durand (Jeeves Tremor) and wanted to see him in it, and then she was reading about the movie on the internet and found out the guy who plays Darwin is Chris Pine who she knew I liked so she told me and I watched it and now I love it! :) For me definately the Tremor brothers were the best characters, such amazing performances as well.

I really liked all of the characters by the end of the movie but the ones that I really felt for were Acosta, Buddy Israel, Sharice, and Messner.

In the scene where Acosta has to kill Bill, it tore me up because he said "Close your eyes. I don't want my face to be the last thing you see, because Heaven might hold it against you."

When Buddy was in the bathroom and Ivy confronted him about ratting him to the cops, it made me want to cry when Buddy pulled out the card trick explaining how everything was bull**** The music was awesome in that scene!

The part where Sharice was trying to get a hold of Georgia and thought she was dead was so powerful because the music built up and she just looked so defeated and sad. She was a great actress in this movie.

And last but not least, the part where Messner in walking down the street and glimpses of his partner dying flashes through his mind was so powerful for me because you could feel what he was feeling. Also, in the last scene where he pulls the plugs on both Buddy and his father... the emotion on Ryan Reynolds's face was heartbreaking.

Overall, I loved the movie! Clint Mansell's score was perfect!

For me, two characters stand out head and shoulders way above the others ...
Sharice and Georgia.

And of those two, Sharice is the most intriguing and fun to watch and hear. Taraji Henson is absolutely fabulous in this role. She is a riot!

As for Georgia, she is just one phat babe, and she is rightly portrayed by Alicia Keys.

(4) A totally unrecognizable Piven as spaced out Buddy Isreal.

(3) Ryan Reynolds for making a FBI guy I really wanted to root for.

But without a doubt the pair that totally stole the whole movie for me...

(2) the loudmouth granny and her (1) kung fu 'U WANT A PIECE OF ME' grandson. The kid was a total nut job! lol! I even his grabbed his karate chop parts off the dvd and turned them into a screensaver.
