Hey, I know some of you may not believe me, but I am actually an extra in this movie. At the beginning, the original acapella concert, I am in the audience with a buddy of mine, second row, a few seats down from the girl who starts to cry. Since this movie got great reviews, and since I am in it, I am wondering if anyone has access to it, or knows if and when it will be in theaters. Thanks!
sharethe movie is on the festival circuit now, looking for a distributor to get it out into wide release. it just played in nyc at gen art festival. i'd keep checking the web for more info... if it doesn't get picked up right away by a distrib then it should be going around to different indie festivals this summer.

shareI totally believe you - I'm in it too!! I sat right next to Rosemarie Dewitt (the crying starlett) in the flashback scene, when they sang Genesis Take me Home, like 17 . .thousand times Was in my pink, very preppy get-up! During filming, she starts to interact with me, like she's telling me a secret . .she's whispering stuff like "I'm gonna marry that guy .. . .", and I inwardly start to freak out! I"m soooo not an actor, but instinct took over and I respnd to her . .like, couldn't leave her hanging, ya know?!
