What Really Happened to this Movie?

Lets face it, here is another good movie ruined by the producers who probably changed the script to make it appeal to us when it really didn't.

I am 100 percent sure that the original script of this movie is oscar-worthy (or at least worthy of decent rating even if corrupted by racists). Just think about, why would Terence Howard sign on for this, especially after his performances in Crash and Hustle and Flow. I can understand him signing on for a big paycheck in a high budget comedy or action flick, but this low budget drama doesn't cut it.

Why don't Hollywood producers realize that the better scripts and movies are, the more people are going to see them. Especially in today's world where more and more people are can read reviews or view ratings just seconds after a movie is realised, there is no reason for producers to change scripts just to make a trailer look good.

I'm not sure that it matters to Terrence Howard how big a project is, I don't know the guy, clearly, but I've been watching a lot of films he's in recently and I've seen at least two that went straight to DVD and he still put 100% in and Sabotage where he had a supporting role, he still put effort in that movie too. I'm sure like anyone, he's just looking for work.
