Why cant they just leave it alone? I am desperatly hoping tim burton isnt attaching his name to this. Because I seriosuly thought maybe he directed because he liked it. this is obliviously just a ploy to make money.

shareActually they are treating it as a sequel. I think that's the way Disney wanted it b/c Tim Burton supposedly kept them from making an actual sequel to the movie in all CGI.
shareI'd much rather it be this way than them ruining it with a lame all-CGI straight-to-DVD release that you can eventually find in Wal*Mart rolled back to five dollars. The gameplay is pretty cool, though, because it is set up very similar to the Devil May Cry series. It earns brownie points with me there.

shareTim Burton did have a hand in creating the videogame, not sure about Danny Elfman... hope so, though. "Doctor Finklestein's Song" has a Danny Elfman-ish ring to it, but then again, if he helped with the music, he would probably have done Jack's singing voice again... I dunno...

Have you played the game? Or are you just complaining assuming that just because it's in video game form it's going to suck?
shareI got the game for christmas, so far I really enjoy it! The only thing which bothers me about it is Jacks singing voice. However, apart from that it seems to be a great game. I wouldn't go putting it down like some people seem to be doing unless you have played it!

I totally agree. I think Disney's greed is really getting out of hand. They make a sequal to everything, and if they can't make a movie they make a game >.<
shareI think Disney are wreaking alot of great films like when they made a bambi 2 or these pirates of the caribbean 2 and 3. It will be great to see Jack Sparrow loads but I think its getting a bit stupid.

Yeah but this isn't a Disney Sequel. It's a Video Game. The "EVIL HAND OF CORPORATE MONEY GRABBING" had nothing to do with this game. The game is more than a cash grab, or a meaningless sequel, It is SO MUCH MORE. This game is a story, and an adventure, a virtual Halloween Town. And a world of adventure that sucked you into it in the first place.
If you still think this is a pointless disney sequel that has no meaning other than to gain money, and not to be a good game. Than look at the movie. the game that could never get a good game made for it. If we got an adaption of the MOVIE, it would suck. and we got this instead.
