Another director who shouldnt have been given the opportunity

A typical storyline to a thriller done on the lowest budget, excuse my language, but *beep* acting, *beep* effects, im glad i only spent £3 on the dvd as its going on the fire tomorrow, how this won an award i will never understand. There are so many amazing films that cant get the money to be created yet this somehow ended up as a dvd.
As i said the actings terrible, the storyline is your typical mid to late 20s couple, that arent even that attractive, escaping to the cabin in the woods for a romantic get away to meet a psycho who wants to kill them... What more could you ask for in a thriller...
The filming shows us up the noses of the actors throughout the film as im guessing the camera crew where dwarfs as half the film is shot at waist height, im guessing that angle keeps us in suspense..., we also in this film meet the umpa-lumpas close relative the purple faced psychotic daughter of Henry, i also should mention the use of watered down red paint as blood, surely it eouldnt have taken much for the local butchers to bag up a lil blood to be smeared on a car door.
Besides the whole film being a major let down the thing that made me laugh the most is the acting or the poor lack in maturity and self awareness the characters had, if i was relaxing in the woods in a hot tub late at night i think i would hear someone coming out of the trees behind me to then sense them putting there face to mine and smelling my hair before creeping back off without a sound or trace.
Whoever does the reviews for rotten tomatoes clearly has no general idea on what makes a good film, every time i go off a rotten tomatoes review im greatly disappointed and it seems the films they give the bad reviews are the better.
