Is this movie meant to be a horror or comedy? I've just seen the DVD and i'm confused :(

It's both. Although not scary it is indeed a horror movie as well as it is a comedy because in some spots it is funny.
Isn't destruction spelled with an 'E'?

I think it's meant to be both, and have a LOT of references in it. Allthoug it doesnt work as well as it did in Scream.
