I don't understand why Vicent took out Mary Shelly. I thought they were in it together. Does anybody know?

If you watch at the end of the movie she is actually still alive and the one cop at the end is in on it also
shareThat ending was footage shot before she died. The Wonder Years girl and the uncle were in the same footage. I still don't understand why he killed her. The dialogue implied that they were all three in an incestuous relationship together.
