I used to work in a social service 5 years ago and there I heard this story from an addict. He told me about his friend whose girlfriend overdosed and died. After the death that guy went in to pretty bad shape, just trippin and shooting all the time. In his mind he was timetravellin with a shopping cart and tried to fix things that made her girlfriend start using. After a while he came to a conclusion that the reason was he, and later shot himself. Guy who told me this was his dealer. The guy who was "timetravellin" used to told his progress with fixing things to the dealer.

There was this guy lets call him "Peter". He was so called "party user" when he met a girl "Mary". Mary didnt use any substances when they met, but later started using which led to her od years later. When Mary died Peter was really *beep* up. He tried to stop Mary using with his "timetravelling",(I dont know specifics of his trips), but he realized that HE was the reason for Marys drug use. That messed him so bad that he shot himself.

Sorry. Been away for a while. Theres nothing more to tell about them. I heard this story only once a long time ago. I havent met the guy who told this again. But yeah, reality is often way more twisted than movie.
