Depressing : warning spoilers

To me this movie was extremely depressing, with the people ripped from their land reminiscent of fate of the American Indians. Worse was the slaughter of the animals. I could not take that at all. If you can't take seeing animals killed on screen, skip this movie, it's not worth it. When the horse was shot I just couldn't stand it. I was going to say this was the most depressing movie ever, next to "The River." "The River" is the worst, most depressing, awful movie ever. Pointless, too. This isn't at that level, if you stick it out to the end it's worth it. But it was draining, not filling as art should be.
