Q: 'Making of' on DVD

Anybody here tried watching the "Making of" extra on the DVD? We just rented it, and ran into a snag. The fast-forward / reverse / pause / chapter controls didn't work (produced a circle-slash "not" symbol on the screen), and it only played the first chapter (about 5 minutes) of the feature. Tried it in a Windows laptop and PowerDVD, and the same controls were grayed out. And it would only play the first chapter. The only working time control was the time "slider". I could "slide" the time slider to force it into the second chapter, and we were able to watch the rest of it on the little laptop screen, but still, no controls.

Just a glitch with this rental copy? Do all copies have this issue?
