BGB won? what bs..Wilmer's a homo...

If Wilmer got off his knees and stopped suckin BGB's schlong for a second, he wouldnt be such a jackass. BGB didnt even deserve to win against Fudge in best of queens. Wilmer's a piece of crap. He always picks the lamest people. Boomshard over hair jordan. BGB over fudge. But come on??? BGB over cutless or johny mal?? Thats a crock of garbage. Wilmer's got BGB's nuts on his chin just cuz of that lameass dance BGB does.

I wish yo momma would cut wilmer and put someone with real comedic talent and skill for judging comedy on

reply

others: Eman oven Trakstar
Glenn over Kareem
I think BGB deserved it. The battle was held together however, BGB's delivery beat Fudge- hadn't he choked, Wilmer would have made BGB and Fudge split the $1000

reply

Yeah, BGB over Johnny Mal seems too far fetched, but c'mon, you're pushing it by thinking BGB over Cutless is rediculous. BGB can take both Boomshard and Cutless, but Johnny Mal can put up a good fight and take out BGB. I just want to see the Best of NY and to hopefully see Cutless get taken out by Johnny Mal, because Cutless should have gotten his a$$ whooped by Kareem. I agree that Wilmer made whack decisions by choosing Glenn over Kareem, E-Man over Trakstar and BGB over Fudge. But if you look at one of my previous posts, I didn't think Boomshard over Hair Jordan was a rediculous decision.

BoomShard over Hair Jordan- When I first saw that episode, I swaer, it was a tie- BoomShard won. Then, the next time i saw it, BoomShard won 3-1. They cut out parts of the battle to make it look like Boomshard won. I guess, he knew a lot of fans got mad at him choosing BoomShad over Hair Jordan, so when it came to the jury, they cut out words to make it a 3-1 win to BoomShard. However, I think they both had really good jokes. Hair Jordan had some bad ones though- that TLC one and the Over the Hill one. I liked that George Washington joke.

Glenn vs. Kareem- KAREEM ALL THE WAY!!!! Glenn was shaky in his battle vs. Tskillz, I didn't think he would make it to the finals. I honestly thought it would be Carlos vs. Kareem. I hated Cutless. Kareem would have destroyed Cutless. On this other site, people question Cutless' Victory. Someone who was at the battle said that Glenn used a lot of rhymes and raps. The crowd eventually got tired of them. Kareem was so original with his jokes-"There's a telethon in Africa raising money for her broke @$$!!!" I think Kareem would fit perfectly in a freestyle battle with Jonny Mal and BGB. However, he told a really bad joke in the freestyle round of Best of Brooklyn. Something about kicking breath. still, Kareem owned Glenn -Wilmer is a blind man with no taste.

Fudge and BGB was an even battle, if Fudge hadn't choked he might have gotten it. Harp would destroy bgb though and D-redd can beat him too.

Harp already DESTROYED BGB in the East vs. West competition.

reply

Hey...how do you know that? Are you from either NY or LA??

btw...I guess people already know about BGB winning best of NY even though the show hasn't aired yet. Does anyone have a clue when it will aire?

I talk to Fudge on myspace and he said the best of NY episode is gonna be fire!!!

I find it odd that MTV would delete some of the jokes from the contestants. Why would MTV delete 70 percent of Hair Jordan's jokes? Is there a conspiracy on that show? Does MTV want "certain" people who are favorites to win??

answers are appreciated.

reply

First off, I don't know how you think you heard about BGB and BoNY, but watch the episode for surprises... remember, people can say whatever they want on myspace and facebook and fark and imdb... doesn't make it true... I've seen some myspace pages of people claiming to be Wil, claiming to be other contestants - some haters out there too... don't believe the hype. MTV hasn't released the episode, so don't trust anything until you see it with your own eyes.

Secondly, as a producer of the show I promise you we do not pick or force Wilmer, Sam or J to pick winners. We have no vested interest at all in who wins. It is a game after all. And it isn't like Big Brother or Survivor where you're going to tune in each week to see the 'hot chick' or 'crazy guy' - so we keep him around... The show, Wil, etc... simply pick whomever has the best, most original jokes with great delivery and timing.

Do we edit jokes out? Of course we do - some jokes are too racy for television - sometimes our contestants flub up their jokes - some jokes don't make any damn sense - but we've never edited a contestant to lose or win "just because" we like or dislike someone.

The whole thrust of the show was to keep it real. That is why our contestants look and sound as they do - they are real - real pretty, real ugly, real thin, real fat, black, white, asian, male, female, hispanic, etc... We do everything we can to preserve the reality of the live taping in the edit process.

So, tell your friends to watch Best of NY and watch Yo Momma Atlanta when it premieres on a Mother's Day marathon (and the full premiere June 4th.) The Atlanta episodes are amazing - if you dig the show, you'll love these guys.

reply

that's cool. When will MTV aire Best of New York exactly? On Mother's Day or only the ATL premiere? I'm not sure exactly--the way you word it is ambiguous. So the Marathon is all of the NY episodes including best of NY?

Also.. I know what you mean about some jokes being too racy for TV. But what does MTV consider inapropriate or a taboo?

Because E-Man and Nick both pulled down their pants for millions of viewers to see on television--especially that E-Man knock out joke, which was pretty disgusting.

ok, laters

Wow, everyone in this message board just layed over for this guy. Does anyone want to point out the obvious? You don't have to tell Wilmer to pick certain contestants... He's the executive producer, he has a pretty good idea concerning who is best for the show to move on.

Claiming that demographics are irrelevant to picking winners rings a bit untrue. As was said, the point of the show is to "keep it real". The realism of the street style is critical to the popularity of the show. If it does not appear as if the show is projecting what occurs on the streets, then the program will lose viewers. Let's hypothetically say that four women or four asian guys just happen to be the funniest out of all the contestants. Would it appear that Yo Momma is keeping it real by offering a Best of Atlanta show featuring four asian guys? No, it will not appear like this represents the street. Therefore, Yo MOmma producers have an invested interest that the winners represent certain demographics.
Take Hair Jordan for example. It has been claimed many times in published articles that he was meant to look bad by the editors on his final episode. Why would this occur? One,MTV has an invested interest that the winner Wilmer picks are undisputable. Second, imagine if Hair JOrdan made it to the finals and actually won... Would it appear as if Yo MOmma's reflect reality if two white guys win in both years? Nope, and MTV would be severely hurt by that.
Basically, I'm not buying what you're selling.

reply

hmmm...

I know what you mean about reality of the show. But why the hell would you care who wins? The funniest man will move on, that's it!! It is hurtful to know that MTV or the producers would make a contestant look bad. I don't have a *beep* if a contestant is a point-dexter, snot nosed, freckle, black, white, fat, asian, etc... as long as that person if genuinely funny and has what the judges are looking for.

Does anyone agree to what I'm saying? Demographics my ass..it's about originality, delivery, sting..

funniest wins....look at HARP!!

reply

"Funniest wins... look at HARP"

That's true... to an extant. Its perfectly cool for Harp to happen. Just not consistently.

reply

CUTLESS WAS ROBBED!!!! I'm sorry but Boomshard *beep* SUCKS! Hair Jordan and Kareem should've been in the best of NY. All his jokes were much worse than that Jackson 5 joke Cutless said.
