How did this guy get a job judging comedy? He is the biggest hack in the biz. Watching him critique comedy is pure torture.

I totally agree with your contention. He TRIES to be funny, which to me is what makes him a hack. People who are naturally funny (Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, etc.) don't have to try, they just exude humor.
And some of Wilmer's picks/critiques leave you scratching your head. Picking D-Redd over Bruno in season 1 (Bruno was waaaaaaay better), Glenn over Kareem in season 2, Lewis over Robyn in season 3, those just to name three obvious ones. I am sure there are MANY others.
Well D-Redd did bet Bruno, I thought Bruno was much better than D-Redd but Bruno chocked up in that round. But Kareem totally beat Glenn, Hair Jordan definately was way funnier than Boomshard, Robyn was wayyyyy better than Lewis, and Da Product totally *beep* owned Yo-Yo. I think if all of those decisions were different we'd have different Best of NY and ATL winners
