What's wrong with the name Anna Thorton-Wilton?
In a few early episodes Anna has been very specific on the correction of her name. Is there a story to this? I'm not English to I thought I might miss something...

shareDouble-barrelled names (ie, a hyphenated surname like hers) usually belong to the rich or middle class people, which is why she was trying to show it off.
We call this the Loom of Fate.
Anna likes to pretend she's someone of higher class than she actually is. People with the double-barrell names tend to be the higher class people who come from two well to do families who neither want to lose their family names when they marry off
It was suggested in an episode Anna's mother was a dinner lady or something of the like so I doubt her family are the "double barrell" type.
I laughed so hard when her name badge came back with "hyphen" spelled out!
