Is this a Christian film?

The executive producer, director, and more make me think this would be a Christian picture. Is it?

I guess my question would be how you define a "Christian picture." One that doesn't show violations of any of the Ten Commandments? One that depicts both the corporeal and spiritual acts of mercy?
What does the religion of the producer and director have to do with the film, anyway?

I can see how you might get that idea, the guy's directed so many christian movies that it only makes sense. In fact I believe the sheriff in this film is actually meant to be an allegorical depiction of christ. Really.

I don't believe the is Christian but it does show qualities I would hope are found in any Christian. For example, the son (Jake) who decides to steal the moss to help the bully who is suffering from cancer. He did a good deed with no desire for personal gain or acknowlegement. Such display of humility I hope is a trait that is prevalent in all Christians.

Displays of humility aren't just the domain of Christians. Get over yourself already.

I might have thought so, until the old guy who wanted a moss version of Viagra... and certainly the scene just before he was arrested for having stolen some.
