Which roaster was funniest?

I think Jeffrey Ross had me laughing the hardest. His joke about Courtney Love looking worse than Kurt Cobain was so morbid, but that's why it was funny. And the joke about getting Anna Nicole Smith a 90 year old cock to suck on. Very, very funny.

My vote goes for Greg Giraldo. It's hard to say who had the funniest jokes but Greg has the best delivery.

reply

I also thought that Greg Giraldo was the funniest, but my favourite was Jimmy Kimmel's joke about how Pam has screwed more musicians than Napster.

reply

I thought the whole thing was INSANELY funny...honestly I don't think I've laughed THAT HARD or LONG in my life!!! No wonder so many people tuned in for this...(Well and also the fact that it's Pam Anderson...I mean C'mon people!) Lol...but I was laughing my a$$ off the whole time!!! I thought everyone was funny...but I must say...I was a LITTLE bit confused...about Bea Arthur being there...? Yeah...so hehe...it was funny!

Peace & Love,

I think it's a three-way tie between Greg Giraldo, Jeffrey Ross and Lisa Lampanelli. Although Ross had my favorite line of the whole night: "Pam, I'm not saying your vagina is as big as the Lincoln Tunnel. I'm saying it's bigger."

10,000 year increments... common sense...

bea arthur was classy and delicious!
s Bea Arthur

Moody, Bea Arthur was there because both she and Pam Anderson support PETA - it was weird seeing one of my Golden Girls using the f bomb on TV, but I thought it was great. Although Pam's comeback to Bea about "my publisist was right - my book does sound a lot better read by a man" was pretty funny.

I think it's a tie between Lisa Lampanelli and Greg Giraldo. I wish they coulda got someone a little more edgy on there, like Dane Cook. That would have owned.

reply

Jeffrey Ross or Lisa Lampanelli, probably gonna go with Lampanelli.

reply

I had never seen Lisa Lampanelli before and I thought she was hilarious! LOVED her and Bea, for me it was a tie between them. It was so great for me to see Bea do bawdy humor, I was in shock!

However, I laughed through the whole thing there were a lot of great lines (my thought through the whole thing was what a great sport Pam is) Glad she got her comebacks in.

Jeffery ross woz by far the funniest on the night. his kurt cobain joke woz a killa.

reply

Dane Cook would have been totally out of his league. Everyone on that show was miles edgier than him. None of them even need to make strange faces to tell a joke.

Dane Cook sucks. If you think he is funny, you demonstrate that you have no brain.

reply

FYI-Bea has been at several(if not all) of the Comedy Central Roasts. Jeffrey Ross repeatedly has a Bea Arthur joke that he works in each time...usually revolving around her manly member. Still makes me laugh each time.

That Buford's a sly one...already knows his ABC's

I loved Courtney. Thought she was hilarious. Maybe thats just because im a fan though...

All hilarious, my general favorites were from Tough Crowd.

One of the best lines was towards Anna Nicole that most of the jokes could be repeated for her.

And she seemed to take offense to that. Come on, it's just a funny insult.

reply

The first guy was funny, and Tommy Lee was funny. Everyone in between just retold the same jokes the first guy told.

It's like everybody hired the same joke writer. They all showed up with the same material, and it was original the first time. But it got old really fast.

Uncle Bill, I don't want to go to Terre Haute!

I think I liked Sarah Silverman the best. The Paris Hilton joke was soooo true I really hope she was watching. But did you see how insanely mad Andy Dick was getting? Any time anyone spewed out a gay joke or anything he would just bitterly mouth the word "bitch" and then he'd throw back another drink. I really felt bad for him, but I swear I felt like at any moment he would have exploded. Idk, I didn't see his roast, so I don't know if he did or not. But I felt real weird whenever someone popped a joke about him, cause it didn't look like he was handling it very well.

reply

I thought Andy Dick was just pretending to look mad...

reply

Greg Girardo, although he had the benefit of going first, so his jokes seemed fresher in comparison. Still, when he said "Good to see Eddie Griffin here; people said their wouldn't be any big movie stars here tonight and they were right" I laughed my a** off.

reply

Believe me, Andy Dick can take a joke.. When he got up and pretended to blow Tommy Lee I was dying.

Jeffrey Ross was the best roaster, a *beep* riot.

"I wouldn't *beep* Bea Arthur's dick with Andy Dick's p*ssy."

Jeffrey Ross owned everyone else IMHO. His Kurt Cobaine joke and...

"Someone please her a 90-year old cock to suck on." OMG!

reply

I thought Jeffrey was the unfunniest (is there such a word?) of all. I've never understood why he's always on these roasts. He really sucked on Dancing with the Stars, too. Perfect example to me of a person who makes a lot of money in spite of his lack of talent.

reply

Did not expect it but Courtney Love cracked me up big time!

"I "heet" the Canadian?"
