Should i see it???
I've heard negative things about this film. I want to watch it, but dont want to be disappointed, as i love Besson's works.
Is it a typical Besson film?

OK, there isn't a lot of 'action' in this film, no explosions, aliens or flying taxis, but I enjoyed it for the obvious skill of the director, it's an unusual film and I'll probably have to watch it again, as I have to use subtitles, to get the full effect of what Besson was trying to put across about human nature.
Watch it, you might be pleasantly suprised, I was.

Thanks, i did end up seeing it. Absolutely loved it :) Beautifully shot, the visuals were amazing. Although i found the storyline to be a bit bizarre :S
Thanks for asking this question. Tomorrow is the last day it is playing locally and I was wondering if I should give it a shot since I've liked most of the other Besson films. Thanks for the responses too.

You should see it and make up your own mind. I think it's a nice movie, but just know this... expect the very ending to be nothing new.
So if you won't be dissappointed by the ending so much, I think you'll rather enjoy the movie.
I picked this one up from a closing Blockbuster. I took a chance and was very happily impressed. The story is very beautiful, and the main characters are very compelling. They both show a lot of depth.
