I can't place the voice from the beginning of the movie introducing Neil saying "good evening ladies and gentleman and welcome to the Ryman, and the world premier of Neil Young's Prairie wind". It might be levon helm, kris kristofferson? it sounds so familiar? any help would be appreciated.

I thought maybe it was Phil Kaufman's voice. Long-time friend to Emmylou and others and Road Mangler Deluxe!

Hi,

The opening MC is Grant Boatwright who also performs on the DVD. He's the man that found "Hank" the guitar for Neil Young about 30 years ago. Hope this helps.
