Walked Out

This premiered in Edmonton, Canada at the animethon today. I attended, and walked about 40 minutes in. What a peice of garbage! I loved the movies 1-3, but this was sooooo unnessecary. Go watched INUYASHA movies 1-3 instead.

Formally known as Denzel Lockheart.

Oh I don't know, I didn't think it was THAT bad. I was a bit disappointed that the movie projected more of a Inuyasha/Kikyo thing (with all the flashbacks, etc) and that there wasn't more of a progression with Inuyasha and Kagome's 'relationship'. Movie-wise, I thought it was good, but I thought the actual plot of it seemed more like an extra long regular show than a movie (even more so than the first three). ... I'm not sure what to think about this. Also, on a side note, I've been semi-disappointed with the special features on the DVDs, all of them, really. But thats a whole other topic.

I don't understand the seeming hate for this one. I thought it was really good, better than the first two Inuyasha movies (which were very good btw). It was more in the spirit of the TV series, the animation was finally fixed (it didn't look right in the previous three Inuyasha movies), and Inuyasha and Miroku didn't feel Flanderized to me like they did in the first two Inuyasha movies. I think the best Inuyasha movie was number 3 (Swords of an Honorable Ruler), but this one wasn't too far behind it. I liked it.

Maybe it's the English dub, I don't know. I watched it in Japanese, and I find the whole Inuyasha series much less likable in the English dub. So if you watched the dub, maybe that was your problem.
