who watched the great tooth crisis ep?

Was the best so far imo good humor in it. I bougt busted a gut when chomper tried eating the bee in the cave (wich promptly stung him) he spits it out then licks his chops and says "mmmmm spicey" There was another show where this little qoute was said and it was just as funny in the lbft series as it was then. If yu check titan tv listing and search they got a boat load of eps listed no less than 14 total all in a single run. So it looks like none of this now popular half season season for lbft. Cartoon network is really gettign their moneys worth out of the franchise i think.

As for how it compares to the films well you know its better than any of them but the first one easly.

Based on ep titles i was worried they may have totaly kidified it to the point of it beign a animated barrny anoying brain rotter baby sitter. But animation is top notch for a animated series voices are good and well chosen and really do fit the chars.

The shows over all story line is intresting as well. Im thinking it may be a season limited series. B

asic story line is rubies parents send her and chomper to the great vally to learn how to work togather as little foot and his friends do. Shes to bring this knowlage back with her to the mysterious beyond. So they can use it to fight red claw and the fast bitters. (aka raptors of some sort)

So i guess they plan on essentially declaring war on this naty peice of work.

Quite a intresting story line.
So that still keeps it intresting for us adults who ither have kids of our own or like me are just animation addicts with out hope of a 12 step program.

It's the only one I caught, but I usually don't get up early enough anyway, since my class doesn't start until 10:30.

Sadly, my alarm failed me, and I was left with only my will to watch the show, which only woke me up in time to catch the last ten minutes, starting (after commercials) from the part where Chomper is sinking, with his tooth in one paw, and holding Littlefoot's tail with the other. Having only gotten 1/3 of it, I obviously couldn't enjoy the episode.

I'll do everything I can to make sure I watch this next episode. I swear that I WILL NOT MISS the return of Ali.

And I totally agree about the animation. With some of the crap floating around these days, it's especially relieving to see that the show doesn't employ lazy a** animation, and actually makes an effort to bring us good quality visuals.

And the voice actors, to the best of my knowledge, are actually the same people who voice act for the movies. It's also cool that they've managed to fit two songs into each episode. I like the background music and the opening theme, too. So, no problems with the audio.

The stories might not be as exciting as the movies, but I understand that. If they give us too much with the show, the movies might not feel like movies, but rather, extended episodes of the show. New movies realeases wouldn't be as significant, and maybe some people would feel they wouldn't be worth buying. Plus, they probably couldn't pack that much into a single episode anyway.

Overall, I'm really pleased with how the show is turning out, and I'm really glad they decided to make it. Totally worth waking up at 6am to watch (Pacific Time Zone + East Coast satellite signal = 3 hours early)

As for the story remember its a series so it doesnt have a obvious story line on a per ep basis. Instead each episode adds to the story over all. In this case ruby and chomper are there to learn how the great vally dinos work togather to over come dangers. This is so they can bring that knowlage back to the mysterious beyond and teach the ohters there so they can fight redclaw. If they manage to pull that off in the series its going to be somethign special in the animated series type of shows.

I program my VCR to tape the show as I go to work at the local public library during when the show is aired.

BTW, when are new episodes airing? I checked http://www.tvguide.com and the show is not even airing anymore. What is up with that?

reply

Cartoon Network have apparently decided to be a bunch of morons and stop airing the series. It's still goiing on YTV up in Canada though, with one new episode per week, so not all hope is lost.

I live in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States (1/2 hour driving distance west of Portland, Oregon, United States) (on the west coast boarding the Pacific Ocean) and as of right now, I kind of wish I lived in Canada as this show is still being aired in Canada as you say TheNumberOneShmuck. I still wish that this show is still airing on the Cartoon Network. What is the real reason for the Cartoon Network canceling this show? Is it because of ratings? If anyone knows and can answer, I would really appreciate it.

reply

Actually, it would appear that the show has not been cancelled after all. Episodes are once again listed on the site, on Saturday and Sunday at 6am. So they were just moving it.
