Was I supposed to care?

Was I supposed to care about the daughter? I mean, she hardly said anything. How was I supposed to care about someone who says and does practically nothing? Oh, poor thing, she had a scar on her pretty face. She's still pretty, get over it. The only character I really cared at all about was Kay and she died. No one seemed to care that she died, either. Not even her son. I mean, geez. Could have been good if the characters actually had personalities. Just my 2 cents.
