underexposed, amateur video with voice-overs

I went to this movie because I'm a fan of Robert Downey, but I had to wait an hour for him to appear. It wasn't worth it. If this thing has either plot or purpose, I didn't see it in the first hour, when I left.

Downey Jr. is actually the second character that appears in the movie! He doesn't say anything or at least not more than "Thank you" or something like that, but it is a strong introduction in my opinion. So if you say you're a fan of him then I don't understand how that didn't catch you! But OK, that's your opinion! I thought it was a really good, even a great movie.
Plot? Purpose? The film is based on events in the real life of the Director "Dito Montiel"! Notice anything?

You don't go to movies to watch actors...

Who says? There are many movies I've watched simply because of the actors in those movies.

Your post's title describes well my impression of this movie.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

Well it seems like you were more annoyed that Downey didnt have a bigger role. You didn't seem to watch the movie for the movie itself and got antsy waiting for Downey. If you're watching a movie just to wait for your favorite actor and get disappointed because your favorite actor hasn't shown up yet, of course you're not going to like the movie because you're not in the moment.
