watching the trailer, it seems some minor details aside, its the same plot concept as her previous film mimi's first time. ie, involving someone in her murder ideas,having him be implicated and then turn on the person once that person becomes the fall guy for her.

i was thinking the same thing. except she has dark hair now. almost didn't recognize her. and then i was like "hey that girl was in that other movie about murder and trying to evade the police."
There's a difference. THIS was good. Mini's was absolutely awful. I'm sorry but the love scenes between Alec Baldwin and that young girl were absolutely disgusting. This was more like how I pictured Brick(also a terrible movie) to be. In my opinion, Brick was trying to hard to be arthouse and Mini's was trying to hard to be sexy(and failing miserably) and Cherry Crush hit just the right note.
There's also a good one called Pretty Persuasion if anyones' interested.
It was a lot like Mini's First Time, just darker (:
