In memory of 'The Bondage' producer Scott Creedon


I'm greatly saddened to hear of the sudden death of Scott Creedon at age 40. My condolences to his family and friends, as well as to The Bondage writer/director Eric Allen Bell and everyone who benefited from Scott's generosity. He freely gave of his own resources to help others see their projects through and contributed greatly to the world of film. He will be missed.

9/25/1966 to 8/8/2007

Scott Creedon financed the motion picture THE BONDAGE, which is to be released into theaters in early 2008.

He died last Wednesday and left behind two young daughters, countless family and friends, and a legacy of generosity in backing filmmaker Eric Allen Bell in making this picture.

His contributions will live on.

Scott Creedon

CREEDON--Scott on August 9, 2007 in Incline Village, Nevada. Beloved and treasured son of Valerie Doll (nee Dorman) and the late Michael Creedon. Proud and loving father of Brittany and Paige. Devoted grandson of the late Hetty and Joe Dorman. Loving stepson and buddy of Dick Doll. Former husband of Kim Creedon. Scott was deeply loved and respected by his family and friends. After a successful career in the securities business, Scott founded Creedon, Keller and Partners, a multi-billion dollar convertible bond arbritage hedge fund in New York. Eventually he relocated the firm to California and he and his family moved to Incline Village, Nevada (Lake Tahoe). Scott graduated from Poly Prep Country Day School in 1984 and Lafayette College in 1988. In 2002 he was awarded the Rising Star Award by the Alumni Board of Governors of Poly Prep in recognition of his distinguished and unique achievements. He was an outstanding athlete and was happiest outdoors in nature and the mountains he loved. He skied with skill and great passion which is how he lived his life. Visiting Wednesday and Thursday, August 15 and 16 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Clavin Funeral Home, 7722 Fourth Avenue, Brooklyn. Memorial Service to be held on Friday, August 17 at 11am at The Marble Collegiate Church, Fifth Avenue at 29th Street, New York.
