Griffin Dunne on panel at Woodstock

I'm headed to the Woodstock Film festival this weekend. One of the films I plan to see is "Fierce People" with Diane Lane and Anton Yelchin, which was directed by Griffin Dunne. The multitalented Dunne plays the psychiatrist Dr. Simon in "The Bondage."

He will be appearing at the festival, and on Sunday will be part of a panel, along with Matt Dillon, Rosie Perez, Mary Stuart Masterson, Timothy Hutton, and David Strathairn.

This article in the local paper there mentions his role in "The Bondage."

WOODSTOCK - The magic of cinema comes in surprising the audience, and the seventh annual Woodstock Film Festival - which kicks off this evening with a community party - is well aware of that.

To that end, festival organizers announced Tuesday that Hollywood A-listers Matt Dillon and Rosie Perez will join the celebration of "fiercely independent" cinema during the five-day event. Both stars will present awards at the festival.

Also announced Tuesday was that the lineup for Sunday's "Actors Dialogue" panel has been expanded to include actor Griffin Dunne, who most recently appeared in the drama "Bondage," and Mary Stuart Masterson, a Hollywood and Broadway actress who recently directed the film "The Cake Eaters," part of which was shot in Greene County.

Previously announced as participants in the Actors Dialogue, scheduled for 9 a.m. Sunday at Utopia in Woodstock, were Academy Award-winning actor Timothy Hutton and Oscar-nominated actor David Strathairn, who lives in Dutchess County.
