Eric Allen Bell

While I still havent seen the movie, i have been hearing about how fantastic the actors are..... I think we need to recognize this up and coming director

I agree. I did see the film, and I know that as soon as it is released he will get the attention he deserves. The more films I see, the better perspective I get. I just came back from the Toronto Film Festival where I saw over 30 films. They were the cream of the crop (for the most part). I saw some real gems, and all I kept thinking was, "The Bondage" would fit right in here." I walked out of "The Bondage" with "wow" on my lips. That didn't happen in Toronto.

Should be interesting to see who buys it.

I think there is no doubt that with this film he will make a name for himself. This is the kind of movie that audiences want more of and Eric Bell seems to have his finger on the pulse.

His numbers are good - 1 of the 9 features picked for competition at SXSW and they had 2,800 submissions. Also, 1 the top 10 shorts on the Film Threat list and they had 5,000 submissions. He seems to know what he is doing.

I think you'll be hearing a lot more about him very soon.

The latest word is that he has raised some of the budget for "All You Can Eat Pharmacy" which I think he plans to direct starring Michael Angarano.

You really should get that movie made, Eric! It's a great script (at least when I read it). And as you so astutely noted, "Damn" and "Intoxicated" will be great in it! Good luck with that, Brother!

More news on him soon.

Actually, this guy with the ever-changing name is doing a fine job of recognizing himself, by pretending to be someone else and posting comments about himself! Hah! "Uwakenunwoken" is the e-mail address of "Eric Allen Bell". Pretty funny, I think.

Actually, "[email protected]" is the email address of Eccentric Cattle Entertainment. It is allocated specifically to address all matters pertaining to "The Bondage" including to post updates and information on the net.

If you wish to email Bell directly, he has made the following address available: [email protected]

Well last year, I got in touch with an friend of the director and he told me that the movie wont be released in the theaters any time soon ( maybe straight on DVD someday ) because of some dispute.

But Eric Allen Bell put a rough cut version of the movie on a streaming-download website and I watched it. Because of the rough cut it isnt as smooth and fluid as a released movie but the story was told and the characters were amazing.
