Maximum Security Prison?!

It has to be something really special for me to comment on a SciFi channel flick, this happens to be one. Really, let's forget about the painful portrayals, pathetic "monster" effects, ridiculous amount of needless blood spillage (bitten on the leg and bleeding out of the mouth) and a tiny hot chic wearing a tank top with mambo yambos is the only guard aside from her 17 year old counterpart who stupidly stands in one spot to get eaten!

Ok, now that that's out of the way, let's get down to brass tacks...

Mayberry's police jail with Barney in charge had tighter security than this! Was this suppose to be post-apocalyptic or a really lame attempt at a joke?

Who's brainless notion was this supposed to be the idea of Maximum Security?
Did whoever made this heap of smoldering crap even have a concept of what lock up is or do any research what-so-ever?
There's no such 'prison' consisting of a very poorly lit single cell block with no electronic gates, flimsy aluminum bars and pressboard walls? No guards, D/O's, administrative personnel or other inmates? Didn't this whole scenario seem a bit off-kilter when it was being filmed? Especially at the end, when they cut across the roof of what appeared to be a rather large and obvious non correctional facility. And again, where was everybody else?
The boldest point that was left out of the equation is that Maximum Security is just that! There weren't any video/observation cameras, if there were, then the security control room would have been watching the whole thing go down.

I know this was a 0 budget flick but at least put in an effort so as to give it a little sense of realism! I've seen other 0 budget flicks that use a small section of an abandoned prison or warehouse to film in so there's no excuse for this.

======================================================================================================

Before I end this useless thread for a useless flick, I wish to add that it came on at 3:00 in the morning and I was half asleep while trying to keep attention. I may or may not have faded in and out while watching but according to it's rating of 2.1, I sense there wasn't any underlying brain-fart of a plot behind this story (or story behind this plot).
If you are still reading this, then you are a hell of a lot worse off than I am since I stopped writing and you're now reading what I haven't written!

This is what you call a B film or a low budget film. It is not suppose to be perfect in anyway if it is a low budget film which I think that is what they were trying to make this into.

yeah. seemed like an old abandoned police station lock-up area. or maybe just some broken down old prison movie set from the 70s.
