Hi, I can't deny, it's a very touching movie.
I want to watch other movies of the same kind, hard working teachers that trie to overcome difficulties with students, something like : To Sir, With Love.

I watched 'The Ron Clark Story' last night. Very good and inspiring. I also liked 'Dangerous Minds' but would prefer 'Coach Carter'.

If you're interested in a "classic" (i.e. black & white) take on this theme, you might want to try "The Corn Is Green". There are several versions out there, but the Bette Davis one is great.

Take the lead- its a dance film; very good

The class- its a French movie but very similar; although the teacher is more judgmental of the students and it doesn't end in a hopeful or inspiring note as some of the suggested movies.
