I saw the first 20 mins last night

And that is as far as I am going. This is one of the most horrible, pretentious movies that ever saw the face of earth. Why do their ugly as holy hell friends have absolutely no life? They all are on their knees pleasuring Jai and Aditi. Talk about your lives losers. And the whole idea about having intelligent film makers who don't resort to violence to make an intelligent movie COULDN'T be more wrong if it's life depended on it. Just because your movie doesn't have violence doesn't mean it's not dumb. Casino Royale, The Dark Knight, Silence of the Lambs. I can just see the Indian College students being rowdy in the movie theatre going "OHHH MAN!!! I SO RELATE TO THIS MOVIE..LOLZ, FATTU REMINDS OF MY FRIEND". I can just see them picking who they want to be or who they think they are from the movie. I am SO GLAD I didn't grow up in India during my highschool/college days. I would have turned out to be an idiot, just like every single character in this garbage of a movie.

I can see why you loved this movie. I am never gonna give up watching Indian movies although this year has been TERRIBLE for them. But how can a movie drastically change when its been horribly boring and loud for the first 20 minutes. I believe in not wasting my time.

Well! I was born in the UK. I grew up in the UK. I still live in the UK.
And I loved this film! I don't know why you have to be so snobby and egotistical trying to portray the idea that you are "better" than people who grew up in India.

How old are you? 10?

This film was really enjoyable and much more refreshing than most bollywood films - it highlighted the new generation of india, graduates/students all trying to find out what they want to do with their lives. It was fun and appealed to both the young and the older generations as well. I do agree to an extent with the idea of Aditi and Jai's friends being slightly overly excited about telling the couple's love story to their new friend. But have you not thought about the possibility that perhaps due to time restraints the director could not fully develop the friends' characters? Even if this is not the case and the director simply overlooked these individuals, I still think it incredibly unfair of you to accuse an entire country of youngsters of being "idiots"!

I think that India has done quite well for itself, it is developing at such a high speed - the market that all the big companies want a piece of - in actual fact, it is people like you - "educated" individuals who look down upon others - who are the real idiots!

What I said may have come out wrong. But, what I actually mean is that the current generation of Indian youth comes off as full of idiots, most of them anyway, and honestly this movie reflects that better than anything else. Not saying that I am better than them, but it's not my fault. This movie makes me feel like I am.

"it highlighted the new generation of india, graduates/students all trying to find out what they want to do with their lives"

I highly doubt the current generation wants to stand around talking about their loud and obnoxious friends and how they fell in love, telling the story to even more of a bitch than Aditi. WHO CARES LOSERS. The way the director could have carried on the story is, without a flashback! Why is it necessary.

I strongly feel that this movie fell into the "fad" zone. It became an instant fad to like it because its directed at the youth. Most people don't even know if they liked it, but they are going with the flow saying that they LOVED IT. Sit down and think about it, and you will actually find out that this movie is about as interesting as a wet carrot.

Yeah, its horrible. Proves once again, movies don't need to be good from any angle to be a hit in India. Promote it as a youth film and adds tons of idiotic "adventures" in it, and you will be rolling in the green.

Brilliantly put! That's the trouble here. People are too scared to express their opinions or they just go with the flow without actually knowing what they want. Most of the people just pretend to follow popular trends, in order to look "cool". Besides, their perspective of cinema is narrow due to excessive brainwashing done by media and pseudo-critics.

Personally thought this movie was an "ok" film at it's best. abhinav19, i agree with how u say that there friends were complete idiots and need a life of their own, Seriously, they were friggin' chasing the lead people's relationship like it's any of their business. grow up ppl.
