just saw janne tu ya janne na great movie, had a question

i didnt expect to like it but i really did, even the last scene where jai runs through the airport which has been done before was great and felt new and fresh. i dont remember the last time i had a smile on my face as the end credits rolled.
the jai being a rajput/rathore thing was a nice touch, nassaruddin shah and the khan brothers parts were great.

i just have one question how realistically does this movie portray the urban youth in india (i know its a movie and there plenty of unrealistic stuff in it but setting that aside), these kids seemed to be part of the upper and/or middle class in mumbai, so how close to reality was it? seems like a lot of clubbing and drinking going on?

reply

Well it was quiet realistic, compared to lot of other Hindi movies... I come from the middle class so I am not sure if the Upper middle class indulges in so much of clubbing and drinking...

Also, You CAN NOT run into the Mumbai Airport like that!!! Believe me, The Police and Commandos will certainly shoot you down That part was a bit over the top.

Any way its always a bit more in movies.

But otherwise, the friendship between all the characters and everything else was quiet realistic

I especially liked the relationship between the siblings. Amit and Aditi. It reminded me of the fights me and my brother have all the time....

That was really cute.
