I'd have to say that every scene was my favorite scene, since this movie was AWESOME!

But like Druvcool did above:

My favorite comedy scene: when Aditi's parents were talking to Jai about getting married to Aditi and Jai was on totally different topic about working for them. That was hilarious! How when they actually found out what Aditi's parents were talking about and Aditi goes "Jesus!" and then Jai goes "Christ!" Too funny!

My second favorite comedy scene has to be when Jai finds out he's related to Arbaz and Sohail(can't remember their names!), and the scenes that follow with those two.

My favorite Romantic Scene:

Of course the end, when Jai sings to Aditi in the airport! Absolutely adoreable.

It was also cute when Jai saves Mehgna from Arbaz and Sohail. The whole bimari thing was funny!

The most touching scene were the scenes with Aditi and her brother, they portrayed their relationship really well. Amit was actually a deep guy that no one took the time to notice, and how Aditi finally noticed it and got past the differences in the end was really good.

Overall, the whole movie was amazing I can't really choose a favorite scene since every one was beautifully done, but if I had to choose the ones above would be it.

reply

Sir yeh terrorist meow meow kar raha hai lmfaooooooooooo.

My favourite scenes were definetly the guy saying "Coca cola....on the rocks...one more".. the bartender's reaction "samal ke yaar".. then after he has two he starts slurring, haha classic.

The whole Pappu cant dance song was quite funny too. And yeah, the cops at the end with the terrorist scene.

reply

THE COP IN THE END murli, he was in main hoo naa too, he's my neighbour...

the scene where he starts to sing the jaane to yaa jae naa song equally tuneless as jai... lol

thats the part that made the generic airport herione-hero scene into something a bit more special...

This is YOUR LIFE and it is ending one minute at a time!

Awesome movie. My favorite scene is the one where Nasseruddin Shah dances after his son "turns into a man". It was creative thinking at its best

and Naseeruddin dancing in the end!

The thread has been flagged, but again a warning, SPOILERS!

Funny scenes:

1) Coke scene - classic!

2) Terrorist scene

Emotional sequences:

1) Jai and mom - Aditi's engaged

2) Meghna's parent's sequence at the dinner table

3) Jai and Meghna walking in the rain, and Jai yells at her - he has just realized he's in love with Aditi.

4) Terrorist scene, again

about the scene with Jai crying on his mom's shoulder...did this remind anyone else of the scene in Dil Chahta Hai when Aamir's character breaks down while he's on the phone with his dad?

I think my favorite was the way Jai "fought" Vivek, and how he saved Meghna from the two cowboys

I also loved the terrorist scene!

Can someone explain to me what was so funny about the Coke scene, though? Nobody laughed at that in my theater...

He asked for a coke, on the rocks, meaning there was no alcohol, just ice, he swigs it down, asks for another and the bartender tells him to go easy. If there's no alcohol, there is no danger of getting drunk. Get it?

reply

ah, ok. You can tell I've never ordered a drink from a bartender before...

The scene when Aditi and Jai were dropping meghna off at home and Jai wanted to walk her to the door and Aditi asked him how much farther he wanted to take her. I thought that was so cute and funny.

reply

haha i loved the scene when he screams at meghna
telling her shes a loser in fantasy about the scooter thing
it made me lol

I like the scene where Jai and his mom goes to inspector waghmare, and jai's mom tells the inspector that "tumhe suspend nahi karya to mera naan savitri nahi"

And the inspector says "champa naan kaisa rahega" and starts laughing.

Then Jai comes in front and the inspector is shocked, and jai say "dubara kaho"

that was sooo awesome!! U could see how angry he was, yet very calm!!!!

That is something that really scars you more than some dude yelling at the top of his voice

Lot of good scenes in the movie. But a scene I want to mention for its unintentional hilarity:

When Jai is invited to dinner with Meghna's family, afterwards he and she are talking alone. After she leaves, I half-expected him to look at the camera and give a "wtf?" look at the audience. That would have been so hilarious. But obviously would have messed up the movie...

I thought the scene where he cries was handled very well. Maybe it's only because Imran Khan isn't good with crying for the camera, but the way the shot was pictured, without showing his expressions, that was very effective.

The club scene where he looks at Meghna (poor her for being dumped by him later on) and the music cues in which melts your heart, but then you see Sohail Khan doing his snake moves on her harassing her with his brother and that is hilarious. I think A.R. Rahman is really talented to come up with that kind of soulful music which defines the moment so beautifully.

Below is the scene.

This is one of those very few movies in the Indian Film industry that are full of entertainment from start to finish. Kudos to a magnificent script. Every scene in the movie is my favorite, however, those exchanges between Amar and Savirti are priceless... I cant get enough of them... its two awesome, great pair of actors and great performance.
