Hey, can I ask where you found the trailer? I have a friend who is featured in it, apparently. (And he's not Irish either.)

You can see the trailer here.. http://www.latinlionpictures.com/irastart.htm

Who the hell was on staff for the the Gaeilge used in the film? Not an Ulster speaker to be sure.

I didn't work on the movie so I have no idea. I'm not Irish so I can't comment on the Gaelic but I did crack up when I heard Damian's accent in the movie. I give him credit.. he tried. I admit, I don't know much about the IRA but I would like to see this movie. It looks interesting.

On a side note, I just love Irish brogues. A friend of mine went to Ireland and I made her have an Irish friend get on the phone and say *beep* and "ass(arse)". I know it was childish but we all laughed our asses off.

i was one of the actors in the film n i would say that the film had a very low budget and that in consideration i think they done very well. i live in ireland and if u think that film captured the troubles terrible then ur rong that film was the best remake of the troubles most people here dnt no half of wat the troubles felt like but that film captured it beautifully so give the makers some credit

Dear Lord, is that Ian paisley speaking?

You can look at what the evil i.r.a done - you could also look at how many people the brits killed and injured or even the UVF / UDA etc. Do the catholics of Northern Ireland take this abuse or do they take up arms and fight?

Simple.
