NO-ONE puts a hit out of Gary Stretch's character. The person who wrote that obviously has never seen the film. I do envy them..

they did put a hit out on gary stretch's character! That was the whole point of vinnie jones knowing the right apartment to turn up to.

I suggest that both the people who replied watch the film again.. they are very confused and must be talking about a different movie. And PLEASE no more testicle jokes.. I am sure you're more mature than that (Or maybe not)

Yes there is a hit on "Boots". That ends up being the whole point. His brother, Christian, wants him dead so he can have his heart. His brother set the whole thing up. Part of Christian's plan was to kill his mistress, too.

Yes there is a hit on "Boots". That ends up being the whole point. His brother, Christian, wants him dead so he can have his heart. His brother set the whole thing up. Part of Christian's plan was to kill his mistress, too.

Strictly speaking the plot summary is wrong.

The brother did want him dead, but didnt put out a contract on Boots (or the mistress). He put a contract out on himself, but banked on the cop killing both Boots and the mistress.

The cop was keen to kill Boots in any event. But, as far as the cop knew, Boots was actually an assassin, and therefore there was a genuine excuse for legitimately killing him. The cop was not going to get paid for a "hit" and didnt know that someone else wanted Boots (or the mistress) dead.
