Just saw this on tv

I had never even heard of this movie, but the premise sounded good, and you can't go wrong with Richard Gere!

I was totally right; what an incredible film! It's unfortunate that it didn't get a wide release (or maybe my brain is failing and it actually did). Of course, it's one of those movies that is difficult to watch at times, kind of like 8MM, but still a powerful film.

I'm guessing that the Viola character was modeled after Karla Homolka, and it seemed dead on to me. If you aren't familiar with that name, google it along with Paul Bernardo...powerful stuff.
