This movie is not that terrible. Its dark because its a prison. Okay, they killed kids. So what? Like little kids dont die in real life. Yes the acting wasnt the greatest but it was horrible either. What did you expect? And oscar winning performance. Not all directors are looking for that. Jeez, grow a pair.

thats exactly right! ;-) well, if you get into the ACTING business acting is an important part of a movie. besides horrid cliches(which is the reason i dont like most hollywood movies either), senseless choices and some really baaad special FX(many good ones in there too), this movie had alot of good ideas... but somehow somebody *beep*ed that all up. i really tried to like it, but the aweful stuff outweighed the good things.
