Very good movie but (for those who have seen it) [[[SPOILERS]]]

This is what I HATE about movies. Think back to the scene where Norman, Lucy and Isabel take shelter at the hospitable villagers house near the end. Norman sees the bad guys outside being pointed in their direction so he wakes Lucy and says "We've gotta get out of here, let's go!" without explanation. Why doesn't he say "Let's go the bad guys are out there???"

I put myself in his place and 10 out of 10 times I tell my wife what's to fear. Why don't script writers or the directors have any idea about realism? I'm sure it's for dramatic affect but it detracts from the movie for thinking people like me. I know alot of people don't even realize how unnatural the reactions and dialog are in most movies but I'm keenly aware and would love an explanation or (truth be told) to know that alot of others feel like the same.

I see Stupid People...
