This was a terrible show and I'm glad it was canceled. Patton Oswalt and Zach Galifianakis are funny actors but horribly terrible stand-up comedians. Maria Bamford is bad too. Brian Posehn is the only standable stand-up comedian on the show. Hes okay. There was just a ton more crap on this show then stand-up. Its a stand-up show not a crap show but they deside to make it a crap show. Zach going to be on a new show soon so thats good. I don't know where the other three are.

CoC is great. I have since watched the original documentary three times and the series twice. Once it gets released on dvd, I plan on buying it. I don't know, these four individuals (in particularly Maria and Zach) are too unique and hilarious to not like. I think the episode where they perform in Jersey (esp Zach's routine) is the funniest thing I've seen on tv in a long time (well since I saw Cook bite it hard on his scooter - now that was HILARIOUS!)
I can see how Cook fans would find them too obscure and weird but I think they are doing themselves a disservice. I'm convinced that Cook is the only official comedian on Tourgasm. Its about branding and he is a good business man. I think like Oswalt and Posein, the people who will really get a kick out of CoC are the ones are social nerds.
This is just an opinion but the Cook fans that I know aren't the type of people I would trust in telling me what was funny.
I think time will tell which show was funnier but if the first episode was any idication, Tourgasm will suck real bad.
"I'm convinced that Cook is the only official comedian on Tourgasm" No, Bob Kelly is a real comedian, and so is Gary Gullman. It's that other guy that I'm not convinced about. I wish he would have picked someone else, it would have made the show alot better
also, CoC didn't get cancelled, it ended. It was only a miniseries but with some of the funniest damn moments. I'm a big fan of Patton, Brian and Zach, I also thought Maria was funny (one of the few funny female comedians out there). But yeah....if you're looking for a good documentary about life on the road for comedians I definitely suggest checking this series out.
