i think this year has been a big letdown for bollywood fans. most of the films released were shockingly bad. still there were few exceptions.

Haven't seen blue umbrella, but I'd have to agree with you on johnny gaddaar and om shanti om. Gandhi my Father was also very good, but I don't think it should go on the top 3 list. I might add Guru or jab we met to that list, though.
I saw part of aag before shutting it off due to pure horridness. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was an ok film, but flawed in its weak and overly-symmetrical storyline. It provided at least a few laughs.

om shanti om as the best movie? are you high? that movie was pure crap cinema, but i undestand its impossible to choose good movie från hindi films when it is almost none god at all. we need more directors like mani ratnam sir
