Hello all, i jus bought FIFA 06 last week, and when i wanna
start a manager mode, I can't seem to pick Manchester United.
can someone tell me please why i can't play as MANU?
Right now im playing with benfica, caz they own haha.
but can someone tell me why I can't pick Manchester United..?
because thers only Manchester City..
and shouldn't manu be on FA English Premier?
The thing is when you first start off the game you can only manage less than 5 star teams, what you need to do is earn points (to unlock kits and stuff by completing objectives) but if you manage to save up to 2,000 points (roughly I think) you can use those points to unlock all teams to manage on season mode.
Now here's a tip, the problem with managing the likes of man.u or other highly rated teams is the players salary is quite high and there are no sponsors that can cover that amount of salary (yet) and your bank account will eventually starts declining because of this (and eventually you'll get fired) 1st off, try loaning/selling your most demanding player(s) (with very high salary) or try offering them a new contract with lower pay (not really a good idea) or play as a weak team for a few seasons (about 3-5 yrs) then manage a 5 star team

shareIf you were a very good and loyal employee, you would expect your boss would continue to pay you the same amount every year or have a little pay rise. You would hate it if he starts to deduct your salary wouldn't you? Same with your players in the game
