my review

Warring covens of warlocks and witches clash in the 13th installment of
the Witchcraft series. This straight to DVD series is available at
video rental stores nationwide! I believe this film hits video stores
later this year.

I just got home from the world premiere of this film at the Alamo
Drafthouse Cinema in Houston, TX. The film was shot entirely in Texas
and most of it was shot in Houston. The cast and crew of the film were
also in attendance. I sat next to Tim Wrobel, star of the show. Tim
played confused lawyer/warlock Will Spanner. Together with my friend
Robb Zipp, along with Tim Wrobel, cracked jokes about the B movie style
acting. It was quite surreal to be sitting next to the starring actor
of the film and making jokes about the aforementioned individual's
acting ability with the aforementioned actor himself! It was directed
by Mel House, a local independent filmmaker who brought us films such
as Fade to Black and access TV shows such as Primetime with Robb Zipp &
Pals and TheZipp.com Show! Many of my friends including Cesar Castillo
(who gets his heart eaten by an evil witch in the first couple minutes
of the film) and Robb Zipp (who was an extra and played a dead warlock
in a photograph) played bit parts in the film.

The final showdown is incredibly humorous and had a lot of magic
missiles and lightning bolts fired around during the final battle in
some caves located in Texas.

Overall an amazing film. Look for it soon in your local video store!
