Witchcraft DVD box set?

I've been trying to collect this whole series for two years now, still some I can't find on DVD and certain ones such as Witchcraft IX are seller for over $100 i'm guessing cause they are so rare.

My question, is there ever going to be a DVD box set with all the films. If so it would be so much easier to pay the money for the bex set instead of dropping even more money on trying to get a copy of all 13 films. Some I not even on DVD such as Witchcraft VIII. Recently i got a copy of Witchcraft 666. So any hope of a box set?

I agree that it's not easy to own all the movies. (hell, even downloading them doesn't seem possible)

Unfortunately I think it's quite doubtful that there will ever be a complete box set. Not only is the series popularity questionable... but I'm pretty sure that not all of the chapters are owned by the same company. (IV and VI, for example, are Troma productions.)

the first 6 Witchcraft films were distributed by the now defunct Academy Home Video. once they went under it was A-PIX that released parts 7 and 8 and then they closed shop. from there parts 9-12 have all been releasedby the actual production company that produced the entire series, Vista Street Entertainment. parts 1 and 2 were eventually put out on Simitar DVD but i believe they no longer exist either. hence, making these 2 DVDs very rare. the Vista Street releases of parts 9-12 were all put on DVD but due to the complete indie set-up of Vista Street, they had very limited run on disk. i know that parts 4, 6 and 7 have since been picked up by Troma and put out on DVD over the last year.

this puts us Witchcraft fans with parts 3, 5, 7 and 8 in current distribution limbo. hopfully Troma will eventually snap up rights to these remaining installments.

now, as for the business of a DVD box set. as cool an idea as that would be for us fans of the longest running horror series going, it's completely unlikely that it will ever happen. this is primarily due to the fact that so many different companies own distribution rights to all the films.

heck, hopefully Vista Street will be able to get part 13 otu in the public sometime soon. i've been waiting for it for a while.

Witchcraft X and XI were available in the US in a cheap four movie dvd set called "Hotter Than Hell." I think it's out of print now, but copies should still be available on ebay. Witchcraft XII is in a set called "Vamps and Witches" which is 9.98 on Amazon.

a box set would be great but due to the biz side of things, won't happen.

isn't is strange how different companies can own 1 or 2 movies from the same franchise.....so that means they can make their own witchcraft movie? what if one company puts out a witchcraft 14 and so does the other? how does that work?
