I noticed in the credits, this film was dedicated in his memory. However, I could not find any websites explaining what had happened. His wikipedia site was taking down and anything about him is very vague.

Does anyone know what had happened to him?

A few months after performing in The Gymnast, David suffered a fatal heart attack.
