Michael Moore would be proud

of this propaganda.

The Neo-socialist must really think Rudy can win the Presidency, why else create such a hit piece? Clearly they are afraid that Rudy can beat Hilterly in 2008 and they are starting the attacks early and often.

Wow another brainwashed/neoconservative/republican apologet on IMDB. What's new?

Naturally you hate these documentaries and people like Moore that make them, because they expose the ugly truth about your political idols and their crimes and responsibility for all kind of *beep* going on in NY and around the world (BUSH).

Its filmmakers like these that show that there is a self critical look (and a population that does not agree with everything done in the name of "patriotism" and "antiterrorism") in the US and not everybody is ready to eat all the "patriotic" tripe shoved down by the likes of Fox and friends (in the republican media)

Amen

"Cinema is the most beautiful fraud in the world."

Look the phrase Giuliani time was made up... the phrase was false. The phrase was cooked up by Al Sharpton and Dialo himself retracted the phrase... how can this be a self critical look if the very spine of the film is a distortion.

Hey Giuliani did very shady things... he betrayed Pataki to Cuomo, he botched the art issue, he had wars over education, and he treated his wife badly.

However he wasn't Satan incarnate like this documentary claims either...

Crime dropped radically, Times Square was cleaned up, the city began to be a tourist attraction again.

The Documentary had an opportunity to be fair... however by being so slanted the legitimate flaws are easier to ignore as the film is viewed as a pure hatchet job.

Interesting that you would support something like this as its every bit as biased (even moreso) than Fox is.

reply

Uh yeah, Times Square is clean. Remember the part where homeless people were forced into shelters to make Times Square pretty for all the tourists? Don't take the director's word for it, or Dinkin's. Look up the statistics: crime started dropping way before Giuliani took office, and it dropped nationwide, not just in New York. It's great that crime dropped, but don't give Giuliani credit for something that he had nothing to do with.

reply

but in talking to someone who works in NYC he cited a dramtic difference pre Giuliani and post Giuliani. So, take that for what its worth. When you refer to crime dropping before Giuliana, its it something you read or witnessed?

reply

Born in 1979, lived in New York my entire life, yeah, I witnessed "Giuliani Time" first ha=nd. The guy is a monster who changes his beliefs to suit his needs. He's scum, and if he gets elected, he'll ruin this country and send us into an even darker time than we're in now.

reply

Its more even handed that a Moore documentary. Moore would probably go on to claim Rudy had mob ties through his father. I think they did a good job of showing the downside (and at times, up side) of Rudy's policies.

reply

Neosocialist love Guniani since he is one.
