Great concept + concert

The concert in this film is amazingly energetic. The setlist is a great selection from both of thier albums. I wish they would have added Dandelion and #1 Zero also. I was impressed with the fact that Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine songs were also added. I can tell that Chris had a hard time with Sleep Now in the Fire. Emulating Zack's cadence in this song was no easy task, but I gotta hand it to him for giving his best shot.

The monitors went out right before the show and must have been malfunctioning for the rest of the show, because Tim had a very difficult time harmonizing with Chris during his vocal parts.

Check out the documentary of their performance. They set out the goal of becoming the 1st ever American rock group to play a concert in Cuba and made it happen. It just goes to show everyone that music can transcend political boundries and borders.

I will forever miss the incendiary motivation of Rage Against the Machine. In fact they are one of my favorite groups of all time. Believe me, in no way do I think that Audioslave is a substitution of Rage Against the Machine. They are just a new perspective of the great genre known as Rock.

Audioslave is a great band, and I love their Cuba dvd.I also agree that Cornell was an awful rapper, but I'm glad he performed some rage songs anyway, beacuse the music is so funky and groovy,no one really pays attention to the vocals. The DVD was awesome,it looked great too,I love the way it was filmed.I was lucky enough to see them live in montreal and they started off the set with Your time has come. What a song!!It's so high-energy and very, very catchy. It's definately one of the best bands around today.

Wow! That concert was from October 2005? Almost...OVER a year ago.

Anyway, I really enjoyed it myself, since I could not be at the concert, it was a really nice idea for us fans.-Ally

I enjoyed the DVD but the propaganda and bad vocal delivery brought it down for me. But beyond that it was still awesome and interesting to watch.
