kat a tad racist...

look b4 you guys swallow me up i really am a huge fan of this show..makes me laff always...
but i just think katt w is a little over the top when it comes to "white people"
his line "you aint ready to be a pimp son you just a white b**ch and im oj simspon" is disgracefull makin fun over a dead woman who happens to be white

or ..maybe i just need some fresh air

yea but why can black get away with it...yet white people cant

I'm white and thought that the "yous a white bitch and I'm OJ Simpson" line was one of the best wildstyle lines ever. Katt could say he hated white people and I'd still think he's funny, lighten up.

Why do people insist on bringing up history? Since when do two wrongs make a right?

I just want to point out that the child molester analogy is only relevant if you're talking about the specific actions of an individual, and not the descendents of a group of people.

I know I was born and I know that I'll die
The inbetween is mine
I am mine.

Actually child molesters are the least likely to be repeat offenders. So I don't really know where you were going with that one.

You can look it up slick.

In accordance with your theory, your descendants will probably also be clamoring about history and repatriation.

I've been watching this show since it came out and I've been coming back to it periodically. Now granted, I am not into "hip hop culture" at all, I'm more a metalhead than anything but I can appreciate some good battle rap. Kat was racist sometimes, along with other cast members (Nick Cannon had a wildstyle about how Rob was on the show because of affirmative action) but I never found his jokes funny. He'd get a point for his team just for saying "umm..." in his regular high voice.

Also Black_Rebel_Base, sorry about the long hiatus in responding. The purpose of learning history is obvious, but you haven't answered it's purpose in this discussion. "He who does not know history is doomed to repeat it." I am neither white, nor black but I find your rationale rather interesting.

Because history is important and History will answer the question. And a Black racist is nothing compared to White racist. Due to HISTORY, white racism will always pack a harder punch. 'Honkey' or 'Cracker' does not have the long, suffering history behind it like the N-word does. Black people didn't enslave White people for hundreds of years then deny them their rights many years after and lynch them the whole time through. So a few mean words here and there by a Black person may be 'wrong' but it doesn't even compare to the White man's 'wrong'. And history still has an influence today. You can't know where you are until you understand where you've been.

Yes, there's a reason why we learn history, not because it's supposed to be in our curriculum but so we don't repeat the same mistakes again.

Despite our histories, we can't keep dwelling on our past. Have to get ready for the future and fight off zombies for the next apocalypse.

I get it up, I get it up in the dark, I make her feel I'm not a holy man

I need to know then, historyinink: if an ascendant of yours killed an ascendant of mine, would I be entitled to perpetrate the same thing on you? Would this be equitable? Would me killing you set things right?

I don't even know how this discussion got started. The original poster asked if anyone else thought Kat was racist sometimes. I answer YES, and find no necessity in justifying what I perceive as racism on his part.
